Getting blinds in time for Christmas
Despite Christmas coming at the same time every year we always seem to be surprised by it. I think this is because many people do not want to think about Christmas too early as it comes with lots of stress, cost and To Do Lists! We think there is plenty of time to get organised and then suddenly December is here and there is a panic to get the spare room ready for friends or family to come and stay with us for the festive season.
We always recommend not leaving blind shopping to the last minute, especially in a post Covid world where things are less certain than ever. You need time to get your free samples and select the best blind for your room. Then we need time to make and dispatch you blinds.
Finally you have to consider that if there is any delay in the courier service or if an item is lost or damaged in transit this could impact your ability to get the blind installed before your Christmas guests arrive.
Please order nice and early to avoid the Christmas rush and prevent any potential disappointment. We would recommend ordering early December at the latest, although we will have some ranges that are available for pre- Christmas dispatch a bit after this date.
Our track record over the many years we have been trading has been excellent in terms of our Christmas orders getting dispatched in time. However, this year due to all the different issues the UK has encountered – ongoing covid, HGV driver shortage, fuel delivery problems, delays at ports etc – it is really difficult for us to predict how this Christmas will be as it is outside of our realm of experience. We will do everything to ensure that your order arrives to you in time but do help us out by placing your orders as early as possible.
