All of our Skylight Roller Blinds are fully made to measure. You select your window brand, window code and fabric choice. We then make your blinds. We can make skylight roller blinds for Velux, Roto, Fakro, Rooflite, Okpol, Luctis and Dakstra branded skylight windows. We offer our skylight roller blinds with an anodised silver frame, or a white powder-coated frame if preferred. These blinds are hand operated via a tab on the bottom of the blind. For harder to reach windows, we can also offer an extendable 200cm or 300cm operation wand to use to open and close the blinds.
A small difference in a window code can mean a big difference in the glass size of a window and the resulting blind size so do not order for your window using the closest matching code. If the name and code on your window does not exactly match the details on our website do not place an order.
The benefits of our Skylight roller range are;
- A wide range of skylight brands and sizes available to order in one place
- Matching fabrics in standard/blackout roller ranges so you can match your skylight blinds to your other windows in the room.
- Your choice of hand or wand-controlled blinds
- Wide choice of fabric colours and fabric finishes (dim out, sheer, blackout)
- Sustainable, environmentally friendly fabrics available
- Easy to install as the blind frame is supplied with adhesive tabs, which will help hold the blind in place allowing you to use both hands to drill the blind in place. This makes it safer when working at height.

Please see below the top 3 questions we get asked that you may find useful to know the answers for right now. (We do have a bigger FAQ sectionwhich you can find a link to from here and at at the bottom of this page.)
(i) What’s the difference between Recess and Exact sizes?
An exact size blind will be made to the measurements you entered onto the site. We will not make deductions to your sizes. We do work to an industry standard manufacturers tolerance of plus/minus 5mm. For wood and faux wood venetians ordered as Exact size the pelmets will come mitred with end returns.
If you order your blind as Recess size we will make deductions from the sizes you supply. We imagine you have supplied the measurements of your window recess so we make deductions to ensure the blind will fit perfectly within these dimensions. For woods and faux wood venetians ordered as Recess size the pelmet will be supplied as square cut with no end returns.
We only allow Vertical blinds to be ordered as Recess size. If you need your Vertical blinds as Exact size do email us for guidance.
(ii) What does Installation Measurement mean?
The Installation Measurement is the distance from where the top of the blind will be installed down to the floor.
You only need to input an installation measurement if the distance from where the very top of the blind will be, down to the floor is 210cm or more.
In accordance with child safety legislation all cords / chains must hang at least 150cm off of the floor. Our blinds are manufactured with that in mind. We will automatically make the chains/cords on your blinds approximately two thirds of the blind height you have inputted. This should enable you to reach the cords easily but also keep them away from the floor.
If however you have a window that is very high up (the measurement from the top of where the blind will be installed down to the floor is 200cm or more) then you will need a longer than usual chain or cord for you to comfortably reach. You can add your installation measurement and we can then make the cords/ chain longer but still within child safety parameters.
When you come to install your blinds do double check that the bottoms of all cords/chains are 150cm from the floor and let us know if they are not so we can provide assistance to correct this.
(iii) Are your blinds child safe?
Each blind type has its own safety features to make it as child safe as possible.
Blinds with chains are supplied with child safety hooks to keep the chain under tension and not dangling freely.
Blinds with cords are supplied with cord cleats to wrap excess cord around to keep out of reach.
Some blinds have a wand control options to avoid the use of cords and chains completely.
Other blinds have breakaway clips in the chains/cords so that the chain/cord gives way if excess weight is placed upon it.
Finally, there are ranges of blinds that are designed specifically to be child safe with no cords or chains needed at all
Whatever range you shop from there will be a child safety feature to help keep small children as safe as possible.
When you come to install your blinds do double check that the bottoms of all cords/chains are 150cm from the floor and let us know if they are not so we can provide assistance to correct this.
